Sax-Zim Stories

Great Gray Owls are being seen in the bog along the McDavitt Rd in Sax-Zim Bog. Drive about 2.5 miles north of the Sax Road and begin looking for these owls at dusk and dawn.

Just spotted a Great Grey Owl. She dropped down out of a tree about 15ft in front of me into the fresh snow. She flew back up into the trees and perched nicely. Watch her for a good 15-20 minutes. Picture is pretty dark due to dawn lighting and snow. …
